Sathya sai baba ???? You haven't known about his deeds, if you can find it read about great magician PC Sircar meeting him about 15 years ago. This is what PC said about him.

One of my ex-colleagues got his GC approved out of turn last year itself. He was EB3 - PD November 2005. They approved it for him, his wife and his two kids! He is a big devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and I think he certainly got his blessings on this one..!

The H1B are positioned better as they can relocate quickly. Most of USC and GC dont relocate due to housing ownership. While H1B homeownership is low.
I personally know atleast 20+ USC not willing to move to greener grounds just because they have house.
Housing did create a biased USC/GC jobseeker.

However, at the administrative level, the H-1B visa program has been going through a number of problems without much publicity. For Fiscal Year 2010 H-1B program, unlike previous years, there is a short of H-1B petitions to fill the annual cap this year two months after the agency first started taking in the petitions beginning from April 1, 2009. On the surface, the workloads of the new H-1B petitions have been substantially reduced for the agency, but in reality, the employers that filed the new H-1B petitions have been facing tons of boiler plate Request for Evidence demanding tons of documents over and over causing tremendous delays in adjudication of the petitions. The hostile environment does not end with the new H-1B petitions. Report indicates that the H-1B workers are increasingly stranded abroad not being able to obtain the visa stamp abroad pending so-called protracted security checks and consequently not being able to return to the U.S. to resume employment. Should this environment continue, the business environment for the U.S. businesses will continuously deteriorate and the businesses will continuously suffer unless they take out their businesses and jobs abroad to meet the needed workforces in order to stay in business in increasingly competitive global economy. Nothing will be able to stop the offshore outsourcing of the U.S. businesses. This is something the Obama Administration should think about very quick before too late.

Donot be suprised to expect more, one of my friends at IBM got letter (from IBM attorney) asking to state client location etc..I think it could be based on any new USCIS H1B rules or verification ??
How things change over time..1999 and 2009 opposite in almost most ways. job offers, rates, hostility, length of job contracts etc

Hi,
If you are entering Unites States now on H1B then, you should get 3 Years, I think as per law you do not have to extend your visa after 2.5 months. Please discuss this with your company Attorney (Lawyer) regarding this. because if one takes vacation days on H1B that is not counted on 3 years of H1B so I think you can demand 3 years in stead of extending. because of the administrative mess USCIS does why one suffer?

Sorry for the delay in the answer. I have never heard of an import staying with your FLA file after being erased. It sounds like there is an error in Flash. I would recommend contacting our support - support@erain.com.
Here are some tips from my friend Rushvision on keeping file size low:
There are a number of different things you can do to decrease the file size of your exported SWF. Here are the some things for you to try.
Scale your objects down in the Scene Editor
Go to the Layout Page on the Properties Toolbar and decrease the scene size. You are working with vectors, so your images will scale back up very nicely once imported into Flash.
Some objects have settings that allow you to change the number of segments used to create it, such as the torus and the sphere. Decreasing the number of segments will reduce the amount of data that needs to be rendered.
Get rid of any unnecessary bevels. These add considerably to the total number of polygons that make up the objects in your scene.
In the Preview and Export Editor under the General Options, you can set the Detail Level to low.
Setting the slider farther over to Curves will usually result in a slightly smaller file size, but don't expect this one to work miracles.

How early can we apply for EAD before it expires? I know it is either of these: 180 days, 120 days or 90days ?

Hello Folks,
We should call the new organizations. But in this case people will talk about this issue for a day, maybe two. The one thing that will catch people's attention is we do something OUT of the way!
I support one suggestion put forward by one of our members - Go the Munnabhai way! Send them flowers! Do you guy have any idea what kind of news that will be? If USCIS suddenly receive 1000s of flowers everyday? Granted we will be spending money from our pockets but that is a small price to pay to make our woes known to others!
This is really a cruel joke played by DOS and USCIS! We should not stand by and do nothing!
So, if people are interested... let us start a send a flower a day campaign!

I spoke to my manager who had agreed to do the needful. However, he had put another spoke now by writing in the approval email that it is my responsibility to keep the EAD current.
I do not understand this part- I am working on H1-B, why should I keep my EAD current, by paying my own fees?

Hi All
I have a question regarding visitors visa, my parents got multiple Entry 10 years visa in 2007, but have not visited me so far, but this december my Mom is visitng me and in Feb my father( as to avoid harsh winter weather in East Coast), they will leave back in May 2009.
My Question is will there be any issue as their visa was issued in 2007 but they are visiting now
Do I need to send any new documents( I have moved onto EAD )
Looking forward to hear suggestions.
