That was shady of the seller. The phone is not reported missing so you can still use it correct?

Thank you for the tip. I have a wireless network that I created. I'm not sure why I need to join one. I also don't have a Mac. The connection has something to do with the d-link setup.
You have to do that to have the Time Capsule become a member of your network. Unless you have it plugged right in?

Overhere http://www.macrumors.com/2011/02/11/macbook-air-sandy-bridge-update-in-june/
just a rumor
but i will wait until june cause i don't need a new notebook now
only god know the future and also steve job (:

Yes. Parallels allows you to use the Bootcamp partition as a virtual machine. Create a new VM, and you will see an option to use Bootcamp as the VM disk. I believe it's described fairly well in the Parallels documentation.
The only caveat is you can't suspend, as you would a standard VM (with disk virtualized too).
When you restart your Bootcamp install natively, it will configure itself to use native hardware. When started through Parallels, it will configure itself using virtualized h/w. Also, the first time you start Bootcamp Windows through Parallels, it will automatically install drivers that Parallels needs.

I just got a new 15" PB and have untill 12/21 to return it. These lines in the display really annoy me. The dilemma is that the only thing that I dont absolutely love about this machine is the screen, but the screen is a pretty major component of a laptop. If apple says they will fix it, i would be incredibly happy, but I dont know if that will ever happen. So my question is this, should I just wait untill apple makes an announcement and deal with the screen, or should I return it and get my money back before it is too late? Thanks for any input that you all may have.

Hi-
Is there any way to get all the stuff that's on my old harddrive onto one of my newer Macs?
The G3's running OS 8.5.1.
I guess if it's possible it'd have to be via ethernet?
It's one of the earlier models that doesn't even have USB (not that that'd make any difference).

Actually, I watched this, too... just haven't commented on it yet.
Good production values, good FX, good setup so far. It's hard to see how this could go more than one season even if it avoids early cancellation, though. The lead actress is OK, but I do like the actor who plays the secretive scientist (Rade Szerbedgia, I think is how his name is spelled... he's been good in everything I've seen him in).
One TiVo moment: When the heroine first is talking to her son and goes into the other room, there's a VERY quick flash of what might be an unairable body part... rhymes with tipple. ;)
I'll keep watching it for now... but on TiVo, not live (Monday Night Football gets that honor from me).

I always remember it being available in the afternoon, right after the keynote. That's how it was with the iMac event and "The Beat Goes On".

they can just make a filemaker lite, just as they did in iLife when they made garage band from Logic technology. Most logical would be to put a front end onto SQLite and core data, as it is already in Tiger. Add a few templates for common home and small business tasks, and auto import or make it easy to retrieve data already stored in core data, such as iTunes song information or iPhoto images etc. It wouldn't have high end features, as they sell Filemaker for this, so SQLite should be enough and have good performance. I'd expect both iLife '06 and iWork '06 to be more tightly integrated with Tiger and probably require it.

No standalone device.
Internet still sucks on it.
Same crappy display.
Garage Band = Boring.
Photo Booth = Boring.
Learn to spell. It's knew.
If you don't like it, don't buy it.
Simple.

821-0814 is not an Apple part number. I verified it. There are often part numbers listed on the cables that have no correlation to Apple's actual part numbers. My guess has always been that they're FoxConn part numbers.

It isnt the dev teams fault that you rely on jailbreaking to get your apps ILLEGALLY, why dont you just buy them instead of creating a post venting your frustrations
Well, the OP didn't mention that he's jailbreaking his iPod for illegal downloads.
I jailbreak and I still pay for my apps, through the App Store or even through Cydia itself. There are just some apps that I need that requires jailbreaking (ex. ibluever-- tethering my phone's data so I can use the internet without needing Wi-Fi)... and yes I paid $5 for that app.

could depend on what you are running through winterboard, do you have overlapping themes? widgets? animated L/S etc etc
I have a lock screen theme with weather, a springboard theme with weather but nothing is animated other than the updates for the weather and time. The weather updates every 30 min I belive.

Both are 1080P (1920x1080), so the 27" ACD has ~70% greater resolution (2560x1440).

Personally i would keep the new battery and not worry about it. Under the circumstances they provided you with the closest replacement.

I have the amp connected to the headphone jack. Works fine for me and the cable didn't cost $33. :-)
My headphone jack is bad. You can't repair it, as it's soldered to the logic board.

You know the one that shows processes and what it is taking up much memory and CPU because I want to see what I can quit to lengthen my battery but want to remain jailbroken.
Thanks

If you're looking for reviews, I recommend ZDNET. If you're looking for just feature comparisons, Palm's site lines that up rather nicely.
