For those of you looking for just the kind of person I am talking about- well, here he is- CaoCao. CaoCao cannot be reasoned with or negotiated with. The preference is 'Pinch Open & Closed'. Disable that in Trackpad preferences and you're good to go.

Its only BBC iPlayer and TVcatchup.com. Youtube is better but still glitchy
For iPlayer use iPlayer Grabber (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/29604/iplayer-grabber) which will allow you to directly download the streams that you can later delete. Once you have the file on your drive use the G4 optimized Mplayer I created this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1129727&highlight=) thread to share. Be sure to set the Mplayer preferences the way I show there for best results.
I will look into a tvcatchup solution. Does it use flash? If so then Firefox with the FlashGot extension should do the trick to download them and then use Mplayer like the iPlayer videos.
As for youtube I am shocked you have not heard of Mactubes (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/28608/mactubes). Simply set the player setting in preferences to Quicktime and it will play youtube without even breaking a sweat. The fact that there is no need to go to the site or download the videos first makes it practical and also makes a new user experience without the ads and comments. You can see comments in video info though.

I keep getting the message "unable to find cellular network flashing on my phone almost every time I open up to create a text. It goes away after about a second and then I can write or read.

there is still lotus notes? unbelievable. i know people use it. but i thought they are still using the outdated version.
A friend of mine who works at IBM grouses about having to use Lotus Notes. I didn't imagine anyone used it that didn't have to.
Maybe it's just IBM and Grant Thornton.;)

I have a couple Seagate drives I don't need. They are both:
250gigs capacity
Seagate Barracuda 7200.8
PATA/IDE interface
Used for backup purposes, not much actual "on" time. Tested and working.
Moving everything to larger SATA drives don't need these.
Will consider best offer. Looking for around $40 a piece.

There honestly is no need to update the iPhone line EVERY year at this point. iPhone 4 was the biggest jump and I don't see a reason to jump again so soon, especially after Verizon customers JUST recived access to the phone. I can understand updating the models to include 4G, but at this point 4G IMHO is not needed. It's not a mature enough standard to expect iPhone owners to have smooth service with Verizon and AT&Ts 4G networks. I see them both being great next year, but it'd be a forced move on Apples part to update so soon.

Turn your EQ into a smile, remove all the mids and boost the tops and bass for that (rather horrid) crunchy, digital sounding distortion.
Sorry, not a fan of that sort of guitar sound really, it always sounds too processed and a little 'phoney', if that's the right way to describe it.
Good luck with the project though, it's always nice to hear people getting into audio work :)

Sure. If that's what it takes, let's uncheck the box by default and let Apple provide the info to the publishers.
