Of course they are less expensive. No packaging, no media, no store space, no shipping required.

If they were the same price this would be a serious problem. I still have a problem at the outrageous prices of CDs and DVDs because they are more expnsive than cassettes were, but cheaper to produce. It is all about greed and $$.
Apple wants to make money too. but they eliminated some considerable costs.

Duff-Man says....this comes up in here time and time again. The disks and OS that shipped with your G5 are for *that* computer only. OS X is a *single computer* license - having a copy with your G5 does not give you the right to install on any other computer you may have around. A quick look at your license agreement will tell you that.
If you want 10.3 on that machine you have to buy a copy - those "proof of purchase" are meaningless. The only discount you may get is if you are entitled to educational prices.
Now, having said all that....what you may want to do is just wait until 10.4 comes out and then purchase a "Family Pack" license - for not much more than a single copy you are entitled to install on up to 5 computers in the same houisehold (non-commercial use only)...have a look at Apple's website for more details......oh yeah!

If states went into deficits because people didn't have enough money to pay their taxes how will raising taxes solve this problem?

Um, no it doesn't Fuji S1, S2, S3 RAW Files are not supported. This camera is used by more wedding photographers than any other.

The guy in the link is talking about raising revenue only, and since I can't find his post critiqued elsewhere (though it's quoted elsewhere), I don't know how accurate his numbers are. In any case, he doesn't seem to be including any cuts to the budget, which is ridiculous. Nor does he account for the fact that the recession has produced an ebb in tax revenues which will recede as jobs come back. It's a pretty one-dimensional argument.
That's true but I can't understand how anyone can be looking at this years budget deficit on top of the entire 14trillion+ deficit and not saying America needs huge (in the trillions) cuts and now. If his numbers are even close to right then there is just no way the US can conceivably pay off even this years deficit. What if the recovery doesn't happen fast enough or at all? The united states goes bankrupt.
IMO there is no recovery happening just fluctuations in statistics. The structural problems in the US are worse than they were in 07-08 and they are getting worse.

I like Pages. I haven't had any problems with it. I haven't used all of the features though. I mostly use it for printing envelopes which works great. It will only get better and I'm sure Apple will add more features like spread sheets and maybe a GUI front-end for SQL.

I would have like to see more of a boost on the storage side as well. It would be nice .Mac could give 5GB of storage for instance for the 99bucks.

I bought a Verizon iPad because I have an AT&T iPhone. I figured that if one doesn't work, the other will. I saw no need to get two devices on the same network.
But go ahead, explain to me why that's stupid, since I clearly don't get it and I'm ignorant.

YES this connector has USB3, it also has USB2, Thunderbolt and a pretty white cable too.
What people fail to realise is that if you own a current gen/future Mac you can use the thunderbolt part of the connection, if you own an older version then it will use the USB2 part. OR if you are using a USB3 compatible PC then you can use their USB3 connection.
Its actually a quite clever design and means that the iProducts 30pin connector can be relevant for many more years to come.

Those were the two good games... Then there were things like Pac-Pix, Pok�mon Rush etc. Also the original DS was really ugly, especially compared to the PSP :) In the end though, DS Lite came out as the winner.
One thing I really liked about the DS was that it came with a Metroid Prime Hunters demo, so there was at least something to play with immediately. Same thing with the AR cards included with the 3DS.
I'm really looking forward to future 3DS games, but then I always remember how the thing is region locked :( I have lots of Japanese and American games, for example Ouendan 1 & 2, Taiko no Tatsujin, Phoenix Wright etc. Many of these games didn't come out in Europe at all or came around a year late.
