The liberal view is to build schools that teach people to fish, hire people to teach, treat the teachers well and then send the students off into the world with good educations. Liberals then try to protect the lakes and rivers so that the fish can be eaten, and so that fish can thrive and be caught by the fishermen. When bad times happen, as they always do, liberals are willing to help the fishermen survive natural disasters, famine, draught, and the occassional cold spell (luck and weather). Liberals stand hand to hand with their neighbors, knowing that as their neighbor thrives, so do they.
The conservative view is to set up a corporation on the banks of the lake/river, hire fishermen from out of the country, make enough profits to make a machine that harvests all of the fish available, then dump the waste back into the river/lake poisoning the lake and forever destroying the habitat, and finally, adding fillers and cheap materials to sell canned "authentic fish product" to the people. When the fish run low, the business relocates its operations and hires foreigners to fish, and then requires a government bailout when the people can't afford to buy their products.

Apple already uses AMD, I think it was for a controller chip in the AE extreme base station. This was mentioned previously when the jump to Intel was announced.

FYI, I just looked up the US Department of Transportation statistics.

No, smitty was correct. MS uses version numbers that identify it's code. It's how software devs can write code that decides whether the app should be allowed to install.
In a command prompt, use winver. Note the version listed
EG, Windows 95, NT 4, 98, and ME are all considered Windows 4.x. 2000 and XP are both 5.x, Vista and Windows 7 are 6.x. So it's clear 7 is nothing more than marketing.

well sometimes there is an article about different kind of processor, chips or whatever. some stuff that I don't know anything about. So then I like to look at the votes and see if this is something that is good or bad for Apple. I like to think that majority of the people voting have the same love of apple products and have more insight on this issue than I do.
But it's still highly opinion-based. I think the rating should be based on something other than whether or not I like the poster or what he/she has to say. Something more like, how helpful or constructive was this post?
I still think the "thanks" system like at RedFlagDeals.com is a better representation of what a good "point" system looks like. Certain people are very helpful in answering other people's questions or providing useful information. When someone answers your question or provides a technical explanation (or even a snappy comeback or an informed opinion) that people find insightful, they can "thank" the user for the post. Everyone who sees the post then can quickly see that this post has been helpful to others ("6 people thanked Mad Mac Maniac for this post"). Didn't Lion's Gate mention the movie store in some recent internal conference? I doubt we'll be seeing just the iTunes Disney & Pixar Movie Store today. Fewer studios than we might like, but I can't imagine they'd launch without, y'know, a couple movies for grownups.

What does scare me though is Glenn Beck, who is so smooth that he does craft his message to try and include everybody. I would assume Beck's the type of guy that is great at not offending when talking to him in person. There are union members, people taking benefits from liberal government, yet still seem to find common ground with the GOP. They listen too much to Beck. He's a real snake water salesman and can convince somebody of something that is an illusion.
I'm not sure if this is true. According to investigative reporter Alexander Zaitchik's biography of Beck, he's not a very likable person. He went into the project thinking Beck would be sort of like Limbaugh, who even some liberals like when he's not doing his schtick.

I was under the impression LCD's can't GET "Burn-In"... And that they MIGHT get "Image Persistance", which isn't permanent.

Fivepoint- you act as if teachers make lots of money. The don't, even though they are required to have masters degrees. People understand if the belt is tight. People do NOT understand being denied the right to unionize and fight when they feel taken advantage of. NO ONE should ever be jailed for striking. yeah I heard this before when early pictures and videos of the 2009 Mac mini. Then it came true. If you look at the iPad Accessories this would use the same dock that the iPad currently uses. Apple hardly make single use of accessories per product. It's varies of products. I say it's a winner to me! :D

I'd much rather have a slightly bigger screen (mostly for less "dead" space) than performance improvements, when I'm happy with current performance. WTF do you people do on your phones anyway...??
