... I haven't seen many dvi's, it amazes me that most consumer monitors are still vga. price = quality when it comes to apple.Um where have you been looking. The competitors all use the exact same component as the Apple display even the same model number LCD from the same supplier the difference is the certification process the apple goes through for there color no difference in hardware just a procedure that is run. The fact is a year ago you paid $100 now your paying $300 for a the Apple display over a general consumer display. Apple may not have many competitors in the pro-color display market but they are still competing against the general consumer prices.

Does this mean a new Video Ipod will be releaed also at the WWDC??
and if the rumors are true about the mac pro being announced also, that's alot of new goodies from Steve.
I don't like the rental model, it could find it's way into the music downloads. A $9.99 movie download at good quailty would be realy attractive. (too own)

A good uninstaller is need in OS 10. I'd like to know where and how much is installed.
That's what Apple's trying NOT to do.
They don't want you to care about these issues what so ever. If you are interested, use an external software.
I remember a post that I read on MR some time back. It explained that there are some tasks that we should not be doing but we do out for our own sake; as if they are built into us. There are some tasks which we just do and don't realize we are doing them. They slowly transform into a habit and we can't get them go away just like that.
For eg. quitting of apps. Apple does NOT want us to quit the apps ourselves. They believe its high time the computers become self aware as to what they should be doing and taking care of their user's habits.
You shouldn't care about the installation files and other data. Just drag them out out to the trash and BOOM!.
The reason you have plist files and other data stored on the computer because the developers wanted so. Apple now strictly states that any data must be saved in the app and the library folder should not be referenced at all.
In my opinion, just like on Windows, its the developers responsibility to attach an uninstaller with their app Or just a simple script which keeps a track of all the files that were dumped in the machine and then just do a recursive remove on all the files and folders and done. It's the fault of developers and not Apple.

Personally, I love the Netflix model, but I don't see the studios going for it.

And, yes, the only way to get rid of the chin is to have an external power brick and external or downgraded speakers.
I, for one, think the iMac and Mac Mini will get Merom due to their form factors, and a yet to be announced minitower will get Conroe (just ask AidenShaw).

This rental thing sounds stupid. Secondly, whats to stop some of us from figureing away out to kill the timed life of hte movie files so we can keep it forever. (seeing if we are downloading them)
There will be more pirates than ever if apple does movies. I can think of so many ways.

i agree. i would never buy a computer that didn't have a dvd burner....and i'd never advise someone else to either

I knew they wouldn't get rid of the classic. Something about just being able to put my entire music collection on one device keeps me coming back for more. The iPod touch doesn't come close to having as much storage space of the classic which is why I'll continue to keep purchasing iPod classics. And also, if I wanted a device like the iPod touch I would just buy the iPhone instead.

A 23-inch iMac seems like it would be too large for me, unless they change the form factor. Like someone posted above, it'd be great if they fit everything into a 23-inch Cinema Display-like form. If Apple did that, I would be very interested in getting one.

These were cheaper because they relied on digital effects to make a visual impression, rather than a couple hundred tons of actual explosives blowing up a genuine Boieng 747 as you might have in a Hollywood blockbuster.

Because I have seen 14, mine, my aunt, my friend, my friend's dad, and 10 in band class.
and none of them have any of the said issues.
so in my experience 100% ipad 2s don't have any hardware issue
